Sikh devotees offering their religious rituals at Gurdwara Punja Sahib, Hassanabdal
A
gurdwara, meaning "the doorway to the Guru", is the Sikh place of
worship and may be referred to as a Sikh temple. Pakistan Posses the following main
Sikh worship places. Sikh pilgrimage may be a big source of religious tourism
in Pakistan. Tourist can be attracted from all over the globe.
On
eve 177th death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh; 450 Indian Sikh devotees
offered their religious rituals at Gurdwara Punja Sahib, Hassanabdal (District Attock)
on Saturday June 25, 2016. The Indian Sikh pilgrims under the leadership of
Sardar Gurmeet Singh offered Matha Taki, Ashnan and visited Baba Wali Qandhari
hill. Group leader expressing satisfaction over the arrangements made by the
Pakistan government, they would feel pleasure to visit their worship places in
Pakistan.
According
to schedule of the Indian Sikh pilgrimage, they will go to Gurdwara Dera Sahib
in Lahore on June 26. On June 27, the yatrees will visit Rohri Sahib in
Aimanabad and Darbar Kartarpur in Narowal and return to Gurdwara Dera Sahib
Lahore on the same day. The main ceremony in this regard will be held at
Gurdwara Dera Lahore on June 29, 2016.

graze cattle. It is at a distance of about 1.5 km from the Janam Asthan.
