Adjoining Gulpur is Throtchi famous for its castle built that was in 1460. Gulpur is a town in Kotli District, Azad Kashmir. It is located southwest of Kotli city and is located on the junction of the Kotli-Mirpur and Kotli-Rawalpindi road.

Baltit Fort or Balti Fort is an ancient fort in the Hunza valley in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. 


The Khaplu Fort (Balti: تھوقسی کھر) means The Fort on roof is an old beautiful fort of Baltistan located in Khaplu. 
Khaplu Palace & Residence is located at the upper side of the Khaplu town; a beautiful part of the Baltistan region.


The fort has been renovated by Aga Khan Cultural Services, Pakistan. A section of the fort’s residential area is being used as a hotel.

Skardu Fort or (Balti: کھر فچو) means The king of Forts is a fort in Skardu city in Gilgit-Baltistan


The Shigar Fort (Balti:فونگ کھر) means The Fort on Rock is an old fort of Baltistan and Pakistan located in Shigar Valley It was built in 17th century by the Raja of Amacha Dynasty of Shigar.
  

Islamabad Capital Territory

Rawat Fort is located in Islamabad Capital Territory. It is 17 km east of Rawalpindi on G. T. Road.


Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Bala Hissar (Pashto/Urdu/Persian: قلعه بالا حصار‎) is one of the most historic places of Peshawar. The word Bala Hissar is from Dari Persian, meaning, “elevated or high fort”. The name was given by the Pashtun King Timur Shah Durrani (1773–1793), who used the fort as the winter capital of the Afghan Durrani Empire, with the summer capital being in Kabul.
Bala Hissar fort is located on GT Road, Peshawar.
The Sikh empire who conquered Peshawar in the early 19th century named it Samir Garh in 1834 but the name did not become popular.
The Fort has been the headquarters of the Frontier Corps since 1949 to date.


Chitral Fort has a greater attraction for visitors given its unique architectural style from defensive and administrative point of view.
