ReplyDeleteThe oldest national park in Pakistan was established in 1972. It is located in the Bahawalpur district. Located in the Bahawalpur district of Punjab province, Lal Sohanra is spread over an area of more than 153,000 acres and is known for its diverse landscapes that include desert, forest, and water areas. It is one of the largest national parks in South Asia. The main purpose of establishing this park is to protect wildlife in the Cholistan Desert.
