Lahore
Zoo is located in the heart of the Lahore City and is easily
accessible to the people belonging to all walks of life. It is one of
the oldest zoos of the world and its major objective / aim is to
disseminate information, conserve endangered species and to conduct
research, as well as to offer a stimulating recreational environment
to the daily visitors in millions.
It
is added here that 15+ species in the zoo are officially declared as
endangered, including several extinct in the wild. You may share your
views for their conservation; for the coming generations in this part
of the world.
Lahore
Zoo has following welfare programmes for the animals together with
ample opportunities to integrate conservation; for the benefit of
animals in captivity and public interest. e.g.
- Animal Adoption Scheme,
- Feeding Programmes,
Following
activities are meant to entertain the visitors where as these also
reflect loving behavior by the human being toward the animals.
- Environmental Enrichment Activities,
- Animal Naming,
- Animal Birthday,
- Touch Table,
- Talk Time
- Animal Walk.
Please,
you and your esteemed organization are invited for a noble cause to
play your effective role regarding this community service. You may
like to come a step forward to take part in these activities of
conservation; especially in Animal Adoption Scheme to help the
Lahore Zoo in its efforts that will applaud your name among the
masses.
