Sibi is an oldest town located at the central and ideal location at the cross of plans and mountains in Baluchistan (present day Pakistan). History reveals that seasonal migrant tribes while coming back with their livestock, to their native areas in up mountains after expiry of winter season in the plans, crosses this area and stay here for few days during opening of spring season each year and exchange their animal on barter system and eventually sale purchase started in due course. This interaction between tribal people give birth to these annual celebrations and gave its name as Sibi Mela (festival).  

Although presently such traveling of nomadic tribes with their livestock have become a story of the past due to the modern living amenities but the tradition of spring festival is celebrated with the same zeal and zest. 

Sibi Mela is the Greatest Cultural Festival in this part of the world that has been regularly organized over the past several centuries. Basically, is a livestock trade venue. A large number of livestock breeders gather every spring at Sibi town for sale/purchase, competition and display of various breeds of camels, cattle and goats. Sibi Mela has a great significance for the people of this region and there is no other event to cover Baluchistan. It holds good that Sibians spend six months to prepare for the Mela and the remaining six months to remember it out of the twelve months in a year.

It facilitates to provide pleasure and business to the population of Baluchistan including people coming from Rahim-Yar-Khan (Punjab). The event has been known for its popularity amongst the masses with footfalls crossing the 500,000 to 700,000 people mark in the previous festivals. This Mela covers the whole city of Sibi. It targets Student, Children, Housewife, Businessman, Music Lover, Tele Communication Users & Food Lovers of the region. 

Sibi Mela offers Several Branding and Activation Opportunities and some of the largest brand names have been affiliated with the festival. A Huge Kids Area consisting of 100+Activities for Children. The Exhibition Area has been extended to the whole city of Sibi bringing forth a Massive Array of branding opportunities for Brands Livestock Show, Musical Show, Cultural Show, Folk Dance, Students Involvement & Shows, Fire Works & Many more.

Wali Tangi Dam is a small dam in the Urak Valley in Baluchistan province of Pakistan. It is situated approximately 20 km east of Quetta at an elevation of approximately 8,350 ft. Wali Tangi Dam was constructed by the Pakistan Army in the early 1960s with the purpose of supplying clean water to the Urak Valley and Quetta for irrigation and human consumption. The dam stores and utilizes fresh water from melting snows in the surrounding Zarghoon Hills, which are part of the Suleiman Range.
