Ganga
Power House commonly known as Renala Khurd Hydral Power Station is one of the
most popular hydral stations of Pakistan and it is situated on Canal Lower Bari
Doab at Renala Khurd, Distt: Okara, Punjab, Pakistan.
Sir
Ganga Ram had established this Power Station in 1925 to meet the local
requirement of electricity. The five generators that once produced 1.1 megawatt
of power to run the pumping stations designed to lift water into a barren
higher land around this installation. For various reasons, the generators today
produce only 750 kilowatts.
Interestingly,
it was the first Hydropower station in Indian Subcontinent at that time (Present
day Pakistan).
Sir
Ganga Ram (1851–1927), was a civil engineer, agriculturist and leading
philanthropist of his time.

Pakistan Railways, formerly also known as the Pakistan
Western Railway between 1947 and 1974, is a national state-owned railway
company of Pakistan. Before independence it was known as North Western Railways.
It forms the life line of the country by catering to its
needs for large scale movement of freight as well as passenger traffic.

4) Peshawar.
